BDC Annual Festival of Dance
Happy New Year to you all! With the beginning of the New Year, we continue with our preparations for out 16th Annual Dance Festival. This year's production will feature the childrens's ballet, "The Little Mermaid," to include all of our ballet classes. All modern, jazz, tap and hip hop classes will participate in "Once Upon a Time," which features dances inspired by best-selling books. We are continuing to make final music and costume selections. If your dancer will not be participating in our June production, please notify us no later than Wednesday January 13, 2010. All costume orders will be placed at the en dof next week. Dancers withdrawing from the performance after that date will still be responsible for all costume fees.
This year's production will be held at the Capitol Centre for the Arts on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. We are returning to CCA dur to lack of availability at Bedford High School. BHS will be holding their first graduation and are not releasing any June dates for the auditorium until late spring. We are excited to return to the historic Capitol Centre for the Arts in Concord. Performing at such a beautiful venue is a wonderful experience for all dancers. We will hold two on-stage rehearsals on Monday, June 14 and Tuesday, June 15, 2010 starting at 4:00 p.m. each day. Additional details forthcoming. Please mark your calendars with these dates as all rehearsals are mandatory.
