Bedford Dance Center Tuition
Registration Fee
There is a $25 (per family) non-refundable registration fee due at the time of registration to hold the class spot and offset administrative costs. These costs include, but are not limited to, the costs involved with invoicing, newsletters, miscellaneous communications, memos, flyers, and maintenance of your account.
Class Fees
Fall Session
Class fees are due the first DAY, not CLASS, of each month. After the 15th of the month, a late fee of $10 will be added to your account. A $25 fee will be charged for any returned check. Consistent delinquent payments or accounts over 30 days late may result in the suspension of that student's participation in class. No credit will be given for any missed classes. Students have one month to make up missed lessons. No students will participate in the recital until all fees, late fees, NSF charges, damage charges, and costume fees are received and clear. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please call the office. We do not want to deny any child an opportunity to dance if a viable solution is available.
Tuition is not charged by the class. It is prorated for the entire 36-week regular session and broken down into 10 equal installments (September - June).
The following is a breakdown of Bedford Dance Center's monthly class tuition:

Summer Session
Tuition for summer session classes is charged by class. This gives greater flexibility for those traveling for summer vacations only wanting to attend classes by the week. Summer weekly class rates are as follows:

$225.00 (unlimited group classes)
Summer Intensive Camp
Young Dancer's Program (ages 10-12) - $225.00
Pre-Professional Dancer's Program (ages 13-18) - $325.00
There is a $75.00 non-refundable deposit due upon registration with the balance of the tuition due by July 15, 2009.
Young Dancer's Program (ages 10-12) - $150.00
Pre-Professional Dancer's Program (ages 13-18) - $250.00
We reserve the right to cancel any class due to lack of enrollment or attendance.
Private & Semi-Private Lessons
Private and semi-private lessons are available upon request. Please call the Bedford Dance Center office for private class rates.
Withdrawals
The Director should be notified in writing immediately if a child must withdraw from a class. Until such time, the space will be held for the student and the charges invoiced to the parents. Any fees in arrears will also be assessed. A payment schedule may be arranged for families with financial hardship. Once a student has quit twice in the middle of a semester for reasons other than illness or hardship, the parents should not consider returning to our studio. It is not conducive with our philosophy to participate when quitting is becoming a habit. We recommend the parents' stern commitment to completion.
