We are very fortunate to have a very talented group of incredible volunteers who design and sew dozens of costumes every year. Because of their efforts we are able to do costume rentals instead of having to order a lot of costumes from catalogs. A minimal fee will be charged to each student for rental costumes utilized in yearly performances. This fee covers the materials purchase and labor costs to make costumes and accessories, as well as cleaning, alterations and maintenance. In most cases, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern and Tap class costumes are purchased and not a rental. However, this will depend on the theme for the production. We do our best to find the best quality most reasonable price costumes to fit each theme. Many of those costumes will be appropriate dance class attire for the following season.
Students not participating in the end of year Festival of Dance must notify the studio by email or in writing no later than December 30th due to forthcoming costume orders!
Costume Charges and Return Information
In order to facilitate costume orders a $50 per costume deposit will be charged to each student. Once costume orders are placed, each students account will be adjusted to reflect final purchase amount. Due to the return policies of all of our costume vendors, once costumes are ordered there will be absolutely no refunds or exceptions made. Costumes will not be released unless the balance for all costumes is paid in full.
