Modern 4 is for the student that has progressed in the concept and enjoys the more fluid movement and ability to express their own creativity. The modern dance form encourages the freedom of expression, improvisation, innovation and creative exploration of movement. The aesthetic of modern dance is very diverse — focusing on full-body movement, fluidity, floor work, and creative movement in partnering and some lifts. Ages 11 to 18 years of age.
