ID Ballet 8 Class A

ID Ballet 8 the final level.  All dancer’s at this stage have put in year’s of hard work .  They have mastered dance terminology, body control, movement, physical and mental strength and stamina, and strong technique. Dancer’s at this level are also moving into their fifth and sixth year of pointe which allow additional opportunities to be considered for solo pointe roles both in the Nutcracker and Annual Festival of Dance.

This class has a required curriculum which includes 2 ballet classes, two pointe classes a week as well as enrichment classes in modern and jazz technique. Additional enrichment classes available include Hip Hop, Tap and Acro. Dancers should be at least 12 years old to be enrolled in this class.

The syllabus is designed to properly prepare the serious student in a logical and safe progression of skills. Although each dancer progresses differently, successful completion of this level can take as long as 2 years.
