Modern 5/6 is for the student that has progressed through majority of the levels and loves the more fluid movement and ability to express their own creativity. The modern dance form encourages the freedom of expression, improvisation, innovation and creative exploration of movement. The aesthetic of modern dance is very diverse — focusing on full-body movement, fluidity, floor work, and lots of creative movement in partnering and lifts. Ages 12 and up.
